What is “lord’s day”?
Lord’s Day is the old Christian name for Sunday. And before you ask, no.
I’m not religious. I’m a Pastafarian and Chase is a Jedi.

Where’d you come up with the name?
It’s a reference to G.E. Moore, Newton and Bertrand Russell.

What made you start drawing comics?
I try to encompass a philosopher/philosophy within either one picture that sums up their entire theory or in one object.
Examples of these would be:
Descartes - Tetris
John Locke - Street Sweeper
Spinoza - A Slinky
etc.

Why stick men, can't you draw?
If I told you yes would that even come close to satisfying the question of whether you can truly know that I can draw?
Good philosophy is about simplicity. So if you can't get your point across through the use of stick wo/men then your point is
far too complicated than necessary. Also, I've never met a philosophy professor who can actually draw when
they try to illustrate an example on the board.

Your comics are very similiar to XKCD. Why's that?
Probably because I use stick figures as well? A lot of comics on the web use stick figures (XKCD, Cyanide and Happiness,
Toothpaste for Dinner, Chaospet etc.). Everyone loves stick figures. And as explained before, stick figures = simplicity.

Do you have no shame?
I had shame once, but I think I misplaced it. I think Chase ate his.

Am I allowed to use your comics for my website/blog/essay/other?
Go for it. As long as you mention the source and aren't claiming them to be your own, then you are totally at
liberty to use the comics as long as your use is non-profit.

Who is your favourite philosopher and classical musician?
Rima - J.S. Mill and Handel
Chase - Jung and Tchaikovsky

Why a Philosophy and Music webcomic?
Philosophy to me is what double-chocolate-fudge-ice-cream is to someone who's been recently dumped.
And as for why music, well, why not?
